Before I met you, I was the man in the gray flannel suit, going about my life doing what I thought everyone else wanted me to do. What I should do.
I hated my job, even if I didn’t know it. I let my sister choose all my clothes. I didn’t get my heart involved in anything. And I let my dad walk all over me.
But you taught me to knock all that off and to listen to myself. You taught me to invite color into my life.
And because of you, I’ve changed.
I now love my job. I love cooking for you. I love spending time with you. I love you.
