I love Russell Brand. He’s soulful and funny and quite a bit wrong in the right way. He posted a video that he was hoping we use the quarantines to go inward. Think about the social constructs we have and the things that really matter to us.

I love watching Italians do a flash mob in their own apartments, singing Volare.

I love seeing times unite us.

Plus, as an introvert, I’m happy to have an excuse to stay inside and read and write.

So while I know there are all sorts of things going on in all parts of the world.

And that each person experiences these days in their own way, with their own concerns.

I’m grateful that we are unified.

And that it’s time for a warm fire, rainy weather outside, a nap, and a good book. Or two. Or three.
