book rec: writing motivation
I just wanted to give a shout-out to L.A. Witt.
Her book Writing Faster FTW was the motivational speech on writing I needed to read this week. “Don’t make excuses—make words,” she says. “Your book does not exist until you’ve written it.”
And: “Don’t be afraid of the people who won’t like your book. Write for the people who will.”
Chatty and filled with insight into how she is so prolific, I found it supremely motivating. Like, put down this book and start writing.
