gen x and not gen x

I’m a reader and a writer. But with certain exceptions, I don’t spend that much time watching videos. (Recent exception: I watched every recipe video of @bdylanhollis (Dylan Hollis) on TikTok because omg he’s hilarious. So many one-liners. He’s going to inspire a character someday. But I digress.)

I realized today that my method of receiving and therefore giving information is to write it.

But my child’s is to watch it.

I sent my child screen shots of a portion of my book because I really wanted my child to understand something. The level of my love.

She never read the part I wanted her to read.

So I made a TikTok video about it instead. I don’t know if she’ll watch it, but maybe someone who needs to hear it will.
